Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldība (turpmāk – Pašvaldība) īsteno projektu “Sociālie pakalpojumi un aprūpe personām ar demenci Ziemeļvalstīs” (Nr.PA-GRO-1147); turpmāk – Projekts) Ziemeļu Ministru padomes biroja administrētās Ziemeļu un Baltijas valstu mobilitātes programmas „Valsts administrācija” projektu konkursa ietvaros.

Projekta mērķis ir iegūt jaunas zināšanas par pakalpojumu organizēšanu un attīstīšanu vecāka gadagājuma cilvēkiem ar demenci Norvēģijā un Dānijā, lai uzlabotu un attīstītu Rīgas pašvaldības pakalpojumus un uzlabotu dzīves kvalitāti cilvēkiem ar demenci sociālās aprūpes institūcijās.

Projekts sekmē Rīgas pašvaldības starptautisko sadarbību ar ziemeļu kaimiņu pašvaldībām, kā arī veicina Rīgas pašvaldības starpinstucionālo sadarbību, jo pieredzes apmaiņā dosies gan Rīgas domes Labklājības departamenta pārstāvji, gan ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes un sociālās rehabilitācijas iestāžu “Mežciems”, Gaiļezers” un “Stella maris” vadītāji un darbinieki.

Īstenojot Projektu astoņi Rīgas pašvaldības Labklājības departamenta un padotības iestāžu – ilgstošas sociālās aprūpes un sociālās rehabilitācijas iestāžu pārstāvji laika periodā no 01.10.2018. līdz 04.10. 2018. devās pieredzes apmaiņas braucienā uz Oslo pašvaldību Norvēģijā.
