Plācenīšu mīklu sadala 8-9 daļās. Katru gabaliņu izveltnē apmēram mazā pirksta biezumā. Plācenīša centrā liek jau iepriekš sagatavotu pildījumu, malas aizloka un nedaudz pieplacina ar rokām. Atstāj uz 2-3 minūtēm nostāvēties.
Pa to laiku uzkarsē ar eļļu ietaukotu pannu. Plācenīšu cep no abām pusēm zem vāka.
Sviestu izkausē un ar to pārsmērē katru gatavo plāceni. Var nedaudz apkaisīt tos ar sāli. Plāceņus liek audzītē un, pārsedzot ar dvieli, atstāj uz 10-15 minūtēm.
Neticami gardi un gaisīgi plācenīši: uz pannas zem vāka tie burtiski izlēšas! Starp citu, šo gardumu var gatavot arī bez pildījuma, vai pat uztaisīt tos saldus – pietiek vienkārši pievienot mīklai pāris ēdamkarotes cukura vai pārbērt ar cukuru jau gatavos plācenīšus.
